The record
The figure above is a mesh of 134 rings and 21 meridians: 4,871 points drawn as 4,716 segments, the count the engine states about itself (segments: 4716). One ring is gold — "gold":69, ring 69 of the 134, the right wrist: fifteen points, all at y 49.2, among rings spanning y 0.1 to 99.6. Its colour is rgba(201,162,39), #C9A227.
The camera is fixed: D 300, K 2150, projected at PX 350 / PY 448 on a 700 × 900 canvas with the figure centred on y 50; each segment's opacity and line width are computed from its depth across a ±22 band. One revolution takes 22 seconds (ang += dt / 22000 * Math.PI * 2, with dt clamped to 200 ms). Adding ?angle=90 to the URL — any number of degrees — stops the rotation and freezes the figure at that angle.
Two further documents belong to the study: the era page ("Laizig | M — Chaotic Era") and, one door further in, the jewellery page ("Laizig | M — The jewellery"). The era page carries the project's own titling — "CHAOTIC ERA", the epigraph "AT THE LIMITS OF EARTH, / AT THE EXTREMITY OF HEAVEN", the line "Skin as interface — ornament that behaves like living tissue" — and the mesh's declared human scale: 17.5 mm per mesh unit, the figure standing 100 units, 1,750 mm.
It also draws the six settings, every plate a magnified section of the same mesh — the three foot plates at one magnification, 30 px per mesh unit on a 700 px plate — gold marking contact and nothing else: 01 LOAD, 02 FRICTION, 03 SHEAR — one shoe taken as three problems — then 04 REGISTRATION (glasses), 05 SEAL (earphone), 06 NO SETTING (the skin screen). Each separates what was measured off the mesh from what was drawn on top: a rocker outsole running flat to the metatarsal line at z +4.2, then a 3 u arc into a 13° toe spring; a heel counter held 0.15 u off the skin, its collar rolled at y 11.0; a cut measured through the ball at z +3.3; three spectacle contacts modelled as a spring, WN 48 at ZETA 0.35, sliding past 1.5°; a jaw rotating 24° and carried 7 mm forward against an isolation of 32 dB falling by 20·log10(1 + leak / 0.5 mm²); and the right forearm, rings 69–96, as a pixel grid whose clench swells the radius by up to 7 %, peaking at ring 90 and vanishing at the wrist ring, which is ring 69.
The photograph the era page dresses the mesh with is not the study's own work, and the page says so: shipped as skin.webp, 960 × 1200, from a file named skin.png, "supplied by the owner as ModelJewelry.jpeg · photographer not yet credited", sky keyed out. It was sampled onto the mesh once, offline, by a script called fit.py and shipped as a table — a plain front projection at 16.061 px per mesh unit (U0 492.5, V0 329, Y0 86.1), scaled from cheek ring 125 against a face 159 px wide, chin ring 121 anchored under the jaw. Of the 4,716 segments, 1,760 took a colour from the photograph; 1,672 wear the front's colour wrapped round the back, an assumption, since the photograph has no back; 1,284 took none — 1,110 below the hem at y 32.3 where the photograph ends, and 174 off the keyed-out cutout at the shoulders and the crown.
A row-by-row fit of the head rings to the face was measured, kept in the file, and not applied: rings 121 to 126 at ×1.091, ×1.496, ×1.432, ×0.986, ×0.893, ×1.275, with headFit left as "envelope" and all 134 ring scales at 1.0. The reason is written down — "the photograph looks up at her, so the jaw rows read as wide as the cheeks", and applying it "made a bell of the head, wider at the jaw than the skull".
The jewellery page cuts five specimens from that same photograph at stated pixel crops — HALO 250,0 to 720,200; COLLAR 455,370 to 650,540; BAND 490,640 to 690,840; RING 440,505 to 560,605; CAPE 320,930 to 660,1200 — and its captions describe what the photograph shows, "gold-coloured", "stones", not the materials. The hall they stand in is declared invention: a peristyle in metres projected from an eye at 2.3 m, six columns, the mannequin 2.6 m on the sill, "nothing in it is measured". The painting down the era page's margins is traced from a second source image, MTheme.jpeg, named in a comment.
Two things disagree with themselves. The era page's close is filed "2025 · Chicago · entry 026 / 41 · status: study" and the details on this page give Chicago, Illinois at 41°52'48.756"N 87°38'8.556"W, while the feed's sub-line for entry 026 reads 2025 · Independent, because the reader takes the place from its chapter table and no exception is filed for this slug. And in setting 01 the code comment describes "a 3 u arc then a 16° ramp at the toe" on the line above RAMP = 13°; 13° is what draws.
